It has been such a long week a work. I have had practically nothing to do so I've been on the internet most of the time. I'm not sure what my plans are for this weekend. I have to finish my Christmas shopping but I will do that here in Pratt. All I have left is something for the babysitter and a little something for Mom and Robert. I already bought their presents but want to get them a little something extra. Robert asked me if I wanted to do something this weekend since he has been gone so much for the last couple of months. Maybe we will go to Hutchinson for dinner or something.

Another thought on the wedding reception.... I was thinking that since we are going to go with a fall theme and colors that for the reception dinner a roast hog would be good and definitely easy. I was thinking rolls, some sort of potato, salad, etc. Keep it simple.

Ok, enough about the wedding (for now). I am really bored at work today. Well, that's almost an every day thing. I guess that's good for the citizens of Pratt though because that means people are staying out of trouble or just not getting caught. We do have a new officer that has been writing a lot of tickets so that has helped me keep a little busier than usual. We also have a new female cop. She is the niece of an attorney here in Pratt that I don't care too much for but that's all I will say about that.

I can't believe how darn cold it has been the last couple of days. It makes me want to call in sick to work.

I was going to type more in my last entry but for some reason the preview box kept popping up every time I started typing.

Anyway, Robert is at a class in Wichita this week. It is a class on Clandestine Methamphetamine Labs or whatever you call it. Basically you learn how to make meth and clean up meth labs. He said yesterday's class was boring.

Robert and I are getting married Sept. 30, 2006, which I am very excited about. I had been procrastinating on calling the pastor of our church because I heard a story about another couple that got married at our church and they were not very happy with him. Also, he is a very pushy person. But I finally called him yesterday afternoon and told him that we had set a date so he said he would mark it on his calendar and talk to us sometime in June so that we can begin our 3 counseling sessions. I feel better now that I've got that out of the way. Now all we need to do sometime soon is book the reception site. I would like to have it at the fairgrounds but we have to come up with a $500 deposit before we can book it.

P.S. I probably typed some stuff I didn't need to since my only friend on here is aislinn 76 and she already knows most of this stuff. Oh well!
